Digital Photo Frame Zone

This is a situation that broke up one of my 3-year-long relationships: She wanted to frame a poster of...?

...some cute animated cats (NOT fine art) so she would always have it preserved for posterity. We were on a tight budget, and agreed to spend no more than $100 dollars on the frame...
I waited in the car (foolish mistake) and when she walked out, she had spent $400 on the frame...
I wasn't mad...just mildly irritated, and was willing to let it go...but then she got "angry" at my "mild irritation" and then I got "angry" at her "anger..."
We argued that night, and ended up breaking up a week later...
I know I shouldn't have been even "mildly irritated," because of what that led to...
But wasn't that kinda' "not right" on her part to spend $400 on a frame for a poster of animated cats?!?

I was in a similar situation, you said you were on a tight budget
that is the point and bone of contention do not listen to anyone who tells you different, a relationship is built on little things as well as the big things your mild irritation is to do with trust and honesty if my wife and i were on a tight budget and i went into a store to by a £39.99p DVD player and i saw one i liked for £59.99 i would go straight out and ask if we could afford it
and if she said no i would either wait till we could afford it
or stick with the original £39.99p one.
I would have been devastated at the lack of respect shown.
It has got nothing to do with materialism it is called reality.
