One Classic
If so many Yahoo Mail Classic users are confused with the NEW one, why push this 1 on us?
It almost seems sadistic to tell us loyal users to convert to something this confusing. It may be great for the young ones who are way ahead of us, but it seems to me that if the Classic one is still being used, why not allow its users to keep the old or go on to the New Yahoo-not Classic? I loved the way forwards were so easy to handle-now it seems much more challenging to use! Please re-consider for those of us who just don't "get it".
If you have been switched to the New Mail, then on the mail screen, click Options, then click Switch to the Classic Mail. If it asks if you are sure you want to switch, click Yes to Opt out. If the options menu does not work use this link http://us.mg1.mail.yahoo.com/dc/optout?s… At least we do still have a choice. Then new mail won't load on older computers. I have a new comp, and I prefer the classic. Works for me.

My Outlook has an option button at the bottom left (it looks like a paper with squares on it), if you have the same then click on that. There are a couple of things to check:
Options>Preferences tab>Email Options>Advanced Email Options. Check "Show an envelope icon in the notification area".
Under the messaging options click on the box next to "display a notification message when new mail arrives" then click on the save and close button at the top.

Just to be clear, this vulnerability is currently patched and it affected the Yahoo! Mail classic version only. However, it is likely to force a user to change the GUI from the brand-new mail interface to the old one.

its actually easier then that. Just disable javascript in any browser, try to load yahoo mail, it wont let you so you click return to a previous version, enable javascript again and you will have the old mail back for as long as you want

Close the mail page, click > Control Panel > Internet Options (or on Internet Explorer toolbar click Tools > Internet Options) and delete Cookies, Temporary Internet Files, and History. You might also click > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup > and run Disk Cleanup.
